Stopping Foreclosures: How China used NAFTA to Wreck Florida’s Housing Market: Chinese Drywall

Three questions to ask every candidate for high public office in 2012 are (1) “Are you a NAFTA advocate?” (2) “Will you work to abolish NAFTA? and (3) “Will you work to audit and then abolish the Federal Reserve?”

Millions of people are being foreclosed out of their homes. Many are simply walking away from the debt. And who can blame them? As foreclosure of homes began, bankers holding the loans had to ask themselves “what if the underlying value of the collateral on those homes is zero?”

Why are so many Florida homes worthless?  Why should so many houses be abandoned and demolished?  The reason is that by using NAFTA protections, China was able to sell tons of dangerous drywall to American homebuilders who used it for the walls and ceilings of tens of thousands of homes throughout Florida and elsewhere.  Trying to replace the defective material costs more than the house is worth.

Probably everyone has heard about, or been adversely impacted by, the bursting of the US housing bubble, the economic collapse, the loss of jobs; and the resulting financial trauma inflicted on the nation’s economy as a result of the subprime mortgage loans that were packaged and sold through Wall Street brokerage firms and investment banks.

It was those bad loans that resulted in the Federal Reserve and President Barack Obama working together to bail out the financial elites, the New York banks, the international banks and AIG to the tune of trillions of dollars.  (For the brief documented history on how Pres. Obama, Sen. Harry Reid, Rep. Nancy Pelosi and others were involved in those illegalities, read Chapter 13 of the new book “Ron Paul is Right: Rick Perry is No Conservative.” )

Why shouldn’t the gamblers who bought and sold those loans be made to pay instead of the taxpayers?  After all, a gambling contract is legally unenforceable in most states.  For that matter, why shouldn’t the Federal Reserve, which is a private bank with vast sums of money and resources it confiscates worldwide, be required to

Gingrich Over Romney in South Carolina is a Good Thing for Ron Paul

One thing the American public will probably not hear coming from the mainstream media is that Gingrich beating Romney in South Carolina is actually a good thing for Ron Paul.  Perhaps Paul supporters should send a thank you note to Gingrich and also send a donation to the Ron Paul campaign at the same time.

Ron Paul continues to press his message of liberty, the road to peace and prosperity, ending waste overseas, auditing and ending the Federal Reserve, and returning freedom and jobs to America.  Meanwhile, the other candidates argue about marriages and taxes and things the majority of people are not as worried about as finding and keeping a job.

As reported on the Daily Paul over the weekend, the delegates are getting split up now between all the candidates and it’s going to be very difficult for Mitt Romney, or any of the other Ron Paul opponents, to get enough delegates to win the nomination outright.  This simple fact could result either in a brokered convention or an outright win for Ron Paul at the Republican National Convention in August.

In the eyes of many, Rick Santorum will be dropping out soon since he has no money or organization to continue much further.  Santorum is not even on the ballot in four states.

Newt Gingrich, who is also missing from the ballot in two states, is going to split votes with Romney and take delegates away from

The Romney Record of Judicial Capitulation

Imagine what America would look like today if those nominees to the US Supreme Court named by Republican presidents had comprised a  reliable majority in favor of preserving marriage, defending the unborn, protecting religious freedom, preserving the proper role of states and upholding the Founders’ view of the Constitution.

Now imagine what sort of justice to the Court Mitt Romney would nominate if elected president.  Mr. Romney’s record as governor of Massachusetts gives no cause for optimism. While governor, Mr. Romney nominated 36 judges, just nine of whom were Republicans. There is no evidence that Mr. Romney ever fought for a conservative nominee.

And how many Republicans has President Obama nominated to federal courts to placate the near Republican majority in the Senate? Zero. This is because the left views the courts as the unelected engine for social change rather than a body tasked with upholding the Constitution. Get the judges, not the votes.

In 2006, when the Romney administration drove Catholic Charities of Boston out of providing adoption services because it held the organization must arrange same-sex adoptions, did it not think it was following the law? Of course it did – it just wasn’t willing to fight to do what was right.

South Carolina, Like Texas, Sick of NAFTA and Chinese Junk Goods

As South Carolina voters are bombarded with millions of dollars of advertisements by Republican presidential hopefuls, South Carolinians should remember back to when the state was once the powerhouse of the American textile industry and jobs were plentiful.

The so-called “free trade” NAFTA pact with China has wiped out most of the companies (and jobs) in South Carolina, including the textile industry.  But allowing China to take over the production of textiles does not mean that jobs will never return, and industry in South Carolina will never recover.  The problem is NAFTA and NAFTA is not “fair trade.”

In Texas, five Republican candidates met last Thursday in Austin in the first debate in their race to succeed retiring U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.  During the debate, a self-described “common man” candidate named Glenn Addision “had the crowd on his side with his opening comments referring to China as an ‘evil, thieving bunch,’” according to an article in the January 13, 2011 Austin American Statesman.

NAFTA is a Federal Reserve trade- scheme financially backed against our wishes with our taxpayer dollars to benefit international corporations and not America’s businesses that remain loyal to this nation.  The Federal Reserve is a private banking cartel and only one presidential candidate — Ron Paul — has been consistent about the need to audit the Federal Reserve.

It is unconstitutional and morally indecent for the US government to engage in corporatist trade practices under the guise of “free trade” by allowing large corporations to move oversees; and then force Americans to buy over-priced, poorly made foreign products that are manufactured using child labor in countries such as China.

A new book “Ron Paul is Right: Rick Perry is No Conservative” tells it like it is.

The loss of American jobs to China is a major topic of discussion in financially struggling households around the United States.  It is a topic that most presidential candidates seek to avoid — except for Ron Paul.

The borders will never be closed until the Federal Reserve is shut down and NAFTA is undone.  See a video about what is happening here.

South Carolina Senator Tom Davis Endorses Ron Paul

A leading South Carolina conservative and Tea Party champion, State Senator Tom Davis, endorsed Ron Paul for president on Sunday.

Davis, former Governor Mark Sanford’s former chief-of-staff, has been a vocal critic of government action and of economic development spending backed by other politicians of both parties.

“Senator Tom Davis’ fiscal conservative credentials are outstanding,” South Carolina GOP executive director Matt Moore said recently. “Any candidate would do well to gain his endorsement.”

Rick Santorum had said last August: “To get an endorsement from someone like Tom Davis is a big deal. It would speak volumes to folks and make them take notice and give us a look.”

There has been no further word from the Santorum campaign since Sen. Davis gave his endorsement to Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is Right:  Rick Perry is No Conservative
by June Melton, III, PE

What do Texas Governor Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama have in common? They are all supported directly or indirectly by members of secret groups — including the Bilderberg Group; the Trilateral Commission; the Council on Foreign Relations and of course the omnipresent, secret banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve.

Worried About Your Job and Hope and Change? It’s We Who Elect Those Leaders Who are Puppets of the New World Order; and That’s Why “It’s the Economy, Stupid!”

“Winston, come into the dining room, it’s time to eat,” Julia yelled to her husband. “In a minute, honey, it’s a tie score,” he answered. Actually Winston wasn’t very interested in the traditional holiday football game between Detroit and Washington. Ever since the government passed the Civility in Sports Statute of 2017, outlawing tackle football for its unseemly violence and the bad example it sets for the rest of the world, Winston was far less of a football fan than he used to be. Two-hand touch wasn’t nearly as exciting.

Yet it wasn’t the game that Winston was uninterested in. It was more the thought of eating another TofuTurkey. Even though it was the best type of VeggieMeat available after the government revised the American Anti-Obesity Act of 2018, adding fowl to the list of federally-forbidden foods, (which already included potatoes, cranberry sauce and mince-meat pie), it wasn’t anything like real turkey. And ever since the government officially changed the name of Thanksgiving Day to A National Day of Atonement in 2020 to officially acknowledge the Pilgrims historically brutal treatment of Native Americans, the holiday had lost a lot of its luster.

Eating in the dining room was also a bit daunting. The unearthly gleam of government-mandated fluorescent light bulbs made the TofuTurkey look even weirder than it actually was, and the room was always cold. Ever since Congress passed the Power Conservation Act of 2016, mandating all thermostats which were monitored and controlled by the electric company be kept at 68 degrees, every room on the north side of the house was barely tolerable throughout the entire winter.

Still, it was good getting together with family. Or at least most of the family. Winston missed his mother, who passed on in October, when she had used up her legal allotment of life-saving medical treatment. He had had many heated conversations with the Regional Health Consortium, spawned when the private insurance market finally went

Central Texas Fires: The Lost Pines could be lost.

(Update: Total homes now destroyed exceeds 1400)

All total, they are estimating 38,000 acres have burned and 500+ houses have been lost. At least two dead. Expecting more given the stubbornness of Bastrop County folks. It’s burned from Bastrop to nearly Smithville and south nearly 16 miles.

It’s still east of our home. We’ve had a frightening view of it all from our little hill west of town. Seems to be dying down – last night the horizon was not as orange. At our house we’ve cut fire breaks and have two tractors with box blades and a fire hose hooked up to the pool. Cindy has packed everything important into the Suburban in case we have to evacuate.

The lesson I have learned is that you can put all you really need in this world into a Suburban.
Our bank facilities remain intact, undamaged and serving our customers in their time of need – some without communication. Unfortunately, we have 10 employees that know they have lost their houses and everything they own. There’s twenty more folks who have been evacuated from their houses and the status of their homes is unknown because the deputies won’t let them back in. Given the areas, I would estimate that at least another ten families lost their homes. Not knowing is the worst part. All total about a ¼ of our employees are directly affected. We are providing all our employees with days off to deal with the disaster either to get their personal lives back on track or to volunteer to help those affected.

Some folks are taking this all surprisingly well. We have a 50% market share of the county so most of these folks are our customers. We’re inviting friends and neighbors into our
